The high here was just 44-degrees yesterday, but no precip (thankfully); built a fire to try to take the chill off inside. Supposed to get a couple inches of rain tomorrow, high of 52.

Northcentral Maryland, just 7-8 miles south of the Mason-Dixon. Looks like a big front moving up from the Gulf. We could use the rain, just not all at once. I'm supposed to head over to a friend's place and run some trains tomorrow, but parts of his basement get a bit damp in a deluge (like wear-your-waders damp). That might get postponed.

Denny, did your grass turn white? If you can't see down the street, check in with an optomitrist. Alfred

Just got back the other day from a ten day trip to Clearwater, Florida (or as Philly people say “Clearwooder”) for Spring Training. Saw five Phillies games including one on the east coast of Florida, a three and a half hour drive each way, plus one Flyers hockey game. It was hot, it was sticky and I loved it! Got a little burnt but was saved by the sunscreen lotion.
Back in San Diego it’s a cool 70 degrees and blue skies but it’s going to be a rainy weekend. But my son and his family are in town and we’re going to the hockey game tonight to see the San Diego Gulls face off against the Texas Stars in some AHL action. Then tomorrow night we’re back at Pechanga Arena to see the San Diego Seals play the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in a National Lacrosse League game battle for a playoff berth.
Still waiting to get in the queue for our roof to be replaced before any work gets underway on the layout. It’s frustrating but I always find something fun to do!Attachments:

It has been snowing in Lower Michigan all morning but the temp on Monday will reach 50, so bye bye snow. That's the difference between a January snow and a March one.

The ground is white and I can't see down the block. Low twenties every morning this week, to darn cold for spring. Bill

Down here in southern Delaware it's a cool 53°F, and mostly cloudy. Tomorrow we're supposed to get a good soaking of rain, they say it will measure in inches.

The ground is white and I can't see down the block. Not to worry -- it's probably just pollen!

Spring?? Ha 6" snow in Buffalo.NY. area. 8 degrees this morning. 40/50 mph gusts. More like Jan weather. Snow/sleet/freezing rain for next 2 days. Gotta love "lake effect" snow. Good train running weather tho.
