I gotta sister that lives in Rochester NY...she seems to rarely get much snow. Looking at a map, how can that be? Maybe she's just been lucky.

Bin snowing for the last 8 hours here in Falmouth, Maine. It's supposed to turn to rain later today, and rain all night.

Down here in the southern side of New England it has been a combination of rain and sleet. Good train room day.

I gotta sister that lives in Rochester NY...she seems to rarely get much snow. Looking at a map, how can that be? Maybe she's just been lucky. My daughter also lives in Rochester (actually Webster to the right of Rochester) and has had lots of LAKE EFFECT Snow. I was in New York doing a delivery yesterday, a few miles north of Woodbury, and it was COLD and Slightly windy and ice in puddles. I felt sorry for the plants I was delivering as they were definitely going into a different environment.
Raining here in South Jersey Bay side of state. Last 2 hours we have had 2" of rain. Currently at 3.25" since midnight. Temp is 51 degrees with a feels like of 47 degrees. OH HOW I DISLIKE WINTER and the cold and dreariness it brings. I love it at least 70 degrees and can handle heat a lot better than cold and dampness. Guess this afternoon is a good time to go upstairs to the train room and run some trains.
*********** NEWS FLASH EDIT***********
Rain to stop around three and then become windy.
Fantastic. My next worse nightmare. Wind with soaked ground equals fire calls of wires and downed trees on roads.
HURRY UP SUMMER!!!

We went to Strasburg Railroad today - in the 40s with wind and heavy rain. Riding behind the 2-6-0 Mogul (No. 89), made me ignore the inclement weather. Alfred

This weather has projects on hold. I do all my spray painting outside. Oh well, I will just do more train running I guess.

What nonsense is this? Why do "Colorado Lows" seem to do their worst nowhere near Colorado? Dave
