I was thinking to add an opaque covering to them, maybe with some silhouettes like Williams did for their passenger cars.

Another thing i will do differently on the next one is to spray on the Gold. I used Testors brush on (don't have an air brush yet). Picked up some Gold Tamika spray yesterday. Adam if considering a air brush, this model was suggested to me Paasche air brush set #VL-3AS, I did not purchase it yet still deciding. Bob Attachments:

I’m not sure I will get an air brush. I have a Tamyia gold rattle can.

Adam, you helped me make up my mind on air brush, I am NOT going to get it and stick to the rattle cans, as the price keeps jumping up quickly (started at $69.95 3 months ago and now is $99.95) AND I will have to learn a new method of using the air brush.

Don't ignore the versatility of the air-brush, specifically the notion that every jar of paint in the paint box becomes sprayable. That's huge when looking at the rather limited offerings in commercial rattle cans. Also, if you're into weathering, the air-brush is your friend. The downside, especially for me, is the clean-up.
