Yes I have. I set up a test shot for my next planned diorama and I've built a few figures that will be part of the crowd of passengers on the station platform. Next weekend I should be able to start assembling the diorama platform and moving things around to figure out the best camera angle.

I've been so focused on engine upgrades and making custom engines and equipment I have really neglected working on the layout. After I complete this current engine, I really need to get back on it. Fantastic layout!

Still clearing away the accumulated crap that currently sits all over the layout. Once that's done, we can sort out what's what. Completed the traction-tire issue on the GS-4 Bantam...test run shortly. I was talking about the cats.😁 I'm a dog guy, so no cats here. Never found one of my 80 pound retrievers up on the layout (thankfully).

Great to hear from all. Country Joe, N comes before O in the alphabet, so share your progress. Vy the way, how many N scale box cars can fit into an O scale box car? Alfred

Alfred Alfred, O scale is 3.33 times bigger than N scale so you could fit 3 N scale boxcars end to end, 3 side to side and 3 high inside an O scale sized boxcar. That’s 3x3x3=27.

Country Joe, Do you have any O gauge locos / rolling stock left? If so, it would be interesting to do a Sideshot Saturday of two of the same pieces of equipment in N and O scale. Alfred

Alfred Good idea, Alfred. I did keep some O gauge. It is packed away right now but I have a 50' Florida East Coast boxcar in both O and N scales. It will take a little time but I'll post a photo of the two of them together.

Well, it looks like Mother Nature laughed at my layout plans. Just as I was ready to install track a nasty leak started over the corner of the layout. Of all the places in the house……
And the carpet in front of the leaking wall under the layout corner is wet too. Half the layout will need to be disassembled, and maybe all of it if the whole carpet needs replacing. I may be out of commission for a while. Several neighbors are also experiencing leaks so area roofers will be busy. It may be a while before I resume building, if at all. Good thing I’m using Mianne benchwork.
And it’s still raining, forecast to continue for three more days. Guess I’ll be watching train and layout videos for a while.

Sorry to hear this. But on the positive side, it happened before track and scenery where applied.
If it had to happen, now is better than later.

Sorry to hear this bad news, Brian. I guess the silver lining is that you aren’t that far along on the layout. You can get back to where you are fairly quickly when the leak and damage are fixed. Hopefully the rain will stop sooner than expected and you can get the repairs done quickly.

Brian, Nice waterfall effect.
Honestly it couldn't have happened at a better time as far as layout progress. It bites that you have to take down what you have done but better now than later. Also don't you have a dog? I am almost positive it would have let you know it was leaking. Roof Roof! LOL Sorry for your luck! This will make two out of three if I am counting correctly. York Shipping and then ROOF!

Yep, I have been working on the RR, taking down the Xmas trains, boxing them up, and putting them in there spot under the layout. Will finish up tonight by putting away the Polar Express. Then I will deploy the ordinary times trains to wow the visitors that are coming to our Super Bowl party on Sunday. I might put out an Orioles train on the upper loop as the crowd are big O’s fans. The Alaska passenger train is out. I need to think about the other two loops.
