what has been the progress on your layout project (including Valentine's Day and Easter)? Have not heard from a number of OGFers, like George, Keith, Chuck, Adam, and others. How about an update?

I haven’t done much except enjoy running trains, but then I had to fix a K-Line switch… then I did a small rock scenery item, then I looked at the card girder bridge I printed out from Clever Models - the next thing you know I’m repainting a NYC caboose for my own railroad. This is how it all re-starts! 👍👍

Well, for the last few years I have been a World Class Slacker for working on my layout for various reasons. But it’s a new year and now that the Christmas decorations are put away, ‘It’s clobberin’ time’!
All I need to do first is evict the cats from their lair under, on top and above the bench work!

Recently solved a problem with my ACL engine. That one was bugging me.
Now I’m working on an Army NW2. Got some decals coming. This will head up my Menards Army consist.

I’ve been working on my new layout but it’s not O gauge so I haven’t said anything about it here. I'm sure we all are interested in your new layout, no matter the scale. All scales are welcome here and besides, I have had a lot of inspiration from seeing other scale layouts.

And the battle begins. Ditto, big time slacker here. I've been lucky as I've had major mechanical problems with one engine I had to send to the Harmon Shop and a few engines getting Legacy upgrades which are above my pay grade so out they went. Not much on the layout. I have been upgrading rolling stock to Kadee as I acquire them. New B&M passenger cars are slated for kadee and LED upgrade.

Still clearing away the accumulated crap that currently sits all over the layout. Once that's done, we can sort out what's what.
Completed the traction-tire issue on the GS-4 Bantam...test run shortly.

I've been so focused on engine upgrades and making custom engines and equipment I have really neglected working on the layout. After I complete this current engine, I really need to get back on it.
