I have some people on the layout but they aren't visible in this video. I need to add a lot more. I have a bunch to paint when I get a round tuit, but you know how difficult those round tuits are to come by.

Joe you really have a great layout! I really enjoyed the video angles you chose... it was like you were there from a tiny O Scale person perspective. What kind of camera did you use? Or was it your phone?

Or was it your phone? Awesome job! Thanks Volphin. I was trying to shoot the video like it was taken by an O scale railfan. I used my phone, a Samsung S8+. Phone cameras have gotten so good that when my video camera died I didn't bother to replace it. |

Wow!! You are a lot better with the camera and iMovie (current incarnation) than I am!
Also, the Fastrak "noise" is not so evident in your production as in my experience.

Well done and thanks for posting. Thanks HB. I've had my Mac for over 5 years and just figured out the basics of iMovie. My layout surface is 1" thick extruded styrofoam covered with 7/16" carpet padding with Woodland Scenics vinyl grass mat for the top surface. The carpet padding makes a big difference. Plus, I was running the trains at about 30 scale mph. |
