I see your collection is multiplying - way to go! While we’re on the subject, I was speaking with a post-war Lionel friend of mine and he asked about my little group of Std Ga stuff. He’s had some similar big stuff for 20 years or so….. the plot thickens - will keep you posted. Dave Like pudding Definitely... Attachments:

Definitely... No cars, missing power though. Value I have no idea,
The first pic there should be two of those, one for each end

Yes, Flyer Wide Gauge, but by whom? There is a four-car set with a 'President’s Special” drumhead, and more material to go through - apparently the motor and other truck are in the mix. I'll know more when I see the motor, but unsure of origins. Don't know yet if it's original, Sirus-Varney, RichArt, or other repro? I also understand some Std Ga stuff was chrome-plated by some hobby shops and individuals through the years. Maybe a put together set, but still digging.

I've had Lionel prewar Orange 429, 431, & 430. Knowing finding a Lionel 9E ( not 9U although anybody willing to donate a 9U to me, I'll take. ) I decided to put my 400E in front of them. I think they look pretty good together.
The freight cars, are my collection of cars with original boxes ( in fair to good condition ( the boxes )

Well I bought a second 1835E which came in today, ( pics later ) the difference between them is the first one has red wheels for lead and trailing trucks and this one has black wheels all the way. I was surprised it was delivered today ( Sunday ).

First the engine I got in today, then the passenger cars I have been working on, windows and window treatments, and replaced a broken coupler on the baggage car.
And here is the one I got a few weeks ago, you can see the leading and trailing trucks are red which makes me think they where replaced for some reason.

The missing dark green passenger car, I just got done spending about an hour and a half, make what I call pig-tails for the lights,( not an easy task when you have the shakes. ) and putting one of those PITA couplers on. But that is done, need to put curtains/window dressing in one end window and the clear plastic for all the windows on one side yet. Just worn out.
Edit: actually went back and finished that car and pulled the 2 combo cars down to work on them.
