We ran trains for years without Bluetooth. My advice is don't get locked into using it.

Did you have a negative experience with it? 1st Gen LionChief had a weaker BT signal, but their follow on generation has the new stronger BT signal. I have been running BlueRail and Blunami with Bluetooth and RailPro with Direct Radio control and have found those systems more reliable than track communications like DCS.

No, I use Bluetooth myself. I just don't depend on it. I've run Legacy for years and never had a problem. I also run conventional.
I ran a DCS train at a friend's house. It's okay, but I prefer Legacy.
Maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut.
