Of course, we all want trains for Christmas. It brings back some of that magic we had as kids.
But sometimes the Santa's around us bring us something else as well.
What else did you receive?
I got some sweaters, a gift card for Guitar Center and a digital interface for one of my ham radios. I didn't need or ask for much.

Didn’t receive much toy-train related, just a couple books. Otherwise, a mini-drone, a new weather-station, a couple of wargames, a Scriveiner rollerball, a detailing brush set, and some clothes. Too much, if I’m honest.

Can I include what I bought myself? Other than trains. I bought a Benelli M4 shotgun. Got a smoking deal on it. Couldn't pass it up. Now I can protect all my trains.  |

Santa brought this for my daughter. She loves legos but they have gotten very expensive so Santa decided this model would be fun. She loved it and finished building it today. Is smaller than O but very detailed. Future model layout builder I think.  |

Winter is my basement time for all things trains. My train room is finished but my workshop is not. My Wife and Son got me these awesome rubber tiles for the floor. It will have with cousioning and with warmth. I won't have to stand on the cold concrete floor any more. It's been a slow go. I've been installing them for 2 days. This project has forced me to clean and purge which has been greatly needed after 20 years of gathering and collecting.  |

Likewise, Adam - I don't ask for or need much.
The train scene can be completely confusing for non-hobbyists, so my family tends to get me boating-related goodies.(my summer hobby)
I scored new binoculars and fishing gear this year.
