I would watch all the 'influencers' videos if ......they posted links to their videos on this forum. I watch almost all videos members post(I probably miss a few)on this forum. Well there may be more soon once that other forum starts enforcing their policy of not promoting other websites in posts. I hear that will be enforced in the New Year. Of course, certain folks that “pay to play” will get a pass.

I don’t pay attention to these guys, I watched a few and it seems that just like the hobby rags, in doing product reviews, they never get a lemon, or notice that the paint is wrong. IMO, those stellar reviews give an inaccurate view of the products, and renders their reviews flawed, and not worth my time.
The Best Influencer IMO is Sean at Dakman Productions. He doesn’t do product reviews, but he covers train shows and LHS reviews. He walks through the show or shop filming fly on the wall style tables, and interviewing the sellers or owners. The value here is if you were thinking about going to a show or a shop you have never been to, you can watch the video and see if it has what you are interested in.
in October Sean did reviews of all the halls at York, I have seen him at York, Greenberg shows and all the others over the last few years. Super nice down to earth guy.
Here is one…

Influencer sounds too much like influenza so I avoid them like the plague.

Perhaps at this point a clarification is in order. By influencer I mean those You Tube content originators who for the most part exist to promote products (and themselves) under the guise of product reviews, or entertainments posing as useful information.
I could name names but you can figure it out with little common sense.
Those folks posting about their layouts, how to videos, and general informational videos are not the subject of this thread. Sean of Sean's Train Depot is a bit of a hybrid as he does a little of both.
That being said post whatever you like.
