For repair work on a TIU you should check Ray's Electric Trainworks,
www.rayman4449.com
He really knows his stuff. You don't mention if your TIU has failed in any particular way - it might be something as simple as a blown fuse inside the unit but unfortunately they are not user-serviceable.

Just Trains of Delaware has brand new WTIU's. At least the did a couple weeks ago. Ray's Electric Trainworks were taking pre-orders for them a while back but don't currently list any in stock. Since the traditional DCS remote won't work with them without being tethered by a phone cable they are of no interest to me - until my existing TIU finally dies.
Anyway I'll be interested to know if he can diagnosis and fix the OP's problem as the failure rate for MTH TIU's seems to be higher than for Legacy controls.

Correction to my last comment. IT IS NOT THE WTIU they have it is the WIFI UNIT that can be added to a TIU. I thought that is what he was looking for. The WTIU ALL IN ONE COMPONENT has not been made available yet.
