Like many model train enthusiasts, Brian and Elizabeth loved the movie Polar Express. It warms the heart, brings back that childhood magic and reminds us of the beauty of the season. But they went all out, with elves, Northern Lights and much more! Share your Polar Express photos and videos or share any photos you have from Brian's layout.

It would be nice to dig up pictures of his prior Polar Express layout in their previous house. I remember it kind of being a dog-bone layout in the middle of the room. Probably have to look through his post history on the previous forum, however as that was before this forum got started. They spent so much work getting that layout going before they moved and that one get destroyed.

I got to know him a bit near the end of our time on that one but really it was her where I became his friend. If anyone finds those photos and share them hear that would be great!

All of the previous PE layout are over at the (OTHER) forum. Their move to Sebago Lake, not totally sure, was before, a lot of us went to MTF. BUT all of his building and other photos, of the Sebago Lake (PE) from that forum, no longer reside in his postings. The Christmas Photo albums 2015, 2016 , 2017 , 2018 Posts as a guest are there but no pics. To do a search at the other forum for reviewing some 8- to 9 years ago, would take someone with membership, still active, Not sure of pics being available. There was a pic in 2015, from barn at Otisfield but alas it aint there!!!

This is Brian's first Polar Express Layout in his old home. The only photo I could find of it. It is on the TM Books and Video. Elizabeth talks about the creation of it. She encouraged Brian to have a layout in their home. Their big layout was in the barn. They later tore this one down and built a bigger Polar Express Layout down stairs with Northern Lights in the background. The only trains Brian ran on the Polar Express Layout were his black and Gold PE trains. Later he did allow Lionel's 125 anniversary berk to run on the Polar Express Layout. He created a whole story about the Elves allowing it to run. I also remember the story that Brian told about painting the top of their 2nd PE Layout in their old home. One morning, he went downstairs and he found Elizabeth painting the top of layout in white. He was tickled by how she got up that morning and went to work painting by herself. Elizabeth was very sweet! Attachments:
