Well as the train season is upon us and big ticket items abound, which of the following products did you throw money at so far?
You have the choice of sets, or individual components of the set.

At the prices they are/were asking, and QC problems??  " option. It'd be a runaway winner, IMHO!

Good idea, but I am in the "none of the above" category, and I am not going to embarrass myself by saying what item I still have on pre-order from Lionel!

I'm with Adam, NONE!, I do not preorder, I must see it first. If I miss out on it, oh well. There is always something else I want.
Btw my way of buying trains came way before the BTO era. it was predicated on my financial resources at the time and still is. But I'm still having fun!!

I preordered the Strasburg #90 Decapod. I patiently waited through the nearly two and a half year delay for this locomotive because it is one I have wanted to be made since I first took a ride behind it on my first visit to Strasburg Railroad thirty eight years ago. It’s a locomotive I’ve wanted more than any other.
The delivery delays allowed me the time to put money aside so it wasn’t such a big expense at once. And I got it at a very good preorder price (relatively). It is on its way right now.
Im disappointed I didn’t order the Strasburg 4-8-0 #475 that 3Rd Rail offered some fifteen years ago. Hopefully that one will be made next/soon!
