This year I decided to just run my favorite Christmas trains around the tree with some additional touches. I love Christmas trains. What is your all-time favorite Christmas train for under the tree???
Hope you enjoy the video.

Very nice Christmas layout, Ed. I don't have any Christmas trains but I plan to run at least one O gauge train under the tree. We just moved so I don't know if I can do it this year but I'm going to try. What I do will be similar to your layout, a white snow blanked with a train or two running underneath.

This isn't our main Christmas tree. We don't have much room under that one. I picked up this tree at Walmart. It was only $30. I couldn't pass that up. It wasn't pre-lite but that's ok I just used 2 strings of LED's that are battery powered. It turned out nice. The layout is in our basement same as every year. It's my part-time train room. lol.

Well, probably my favorite *video* of a Christmas train was a compilation I made of stock train footage plus shots of my efforts to rehabilitate the three-decades-in-storage, formerly around-the-tree layout back in 2019 (the beginning of my most recent bout of toy-train-itus), including some shots of the table top (literally!) under-the-Christmas-tree loop from that year (beginning at around 1:07):

Ed, great sounds and background music. I have a Christmas village with a loop of O27 track running through it under the tree. I run a Scout engine with tender, a Christmas box car, and a gondola filled with wrapped presents, reindeer, etc. I have a whistle shack that sounds when the train comes out of the back. Have fun.
