My sincerest apologies for missing the online Christmas party. This time of the year, things get busy and pull you away. Just got to busy with the holiday issues. Glad to hear that it was a success.

I also missed it also, had everything ready to join but then my Nephew called and said they were taking me out for Christmas dinner. Hopefully next year.

We basically bought the tree for them to have fun on, we expected as much. I doubt I will be able to straighten it out after new years, so it might just go to the road for pick-up. Might try taking the lights off, but don't know what I would do with them as we don't use them because of the cats.

Post by thebigcrabcake on Nov 27, 2023 at 8:03pm Join us for the 4th Annual O GAUGE FORUM ZOOM CHRISTMAS PARTY, hosted by The CrabCakes: Emile and Jennifer! Mark your calendars for this Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time), with an expected duration of approximately 1 hour.
Shortly after the OGF Zoom Christmas get together I began dismantling my layout in preparation for a move to another house. During the Zoom event, Emil (TheBigCrabCake) and Jennifer hosted a game to award prizes. All the attendees got rolling stock from Menards. I received a Reading box car that I have not been able to put on tracks – that is, until this evening. It is a really nice 1/48 car; and interestingly, it is comparable in size to my post war Lionel B&O 6468 (1953-55) box car (about 1/8” taller, ¼” wider, and ½” longer). It ran smoothly at the head of the consist. Thanks Emil and Jennifer. Alfred

Menards puts out a nice product and the Christmas party is something Jennifer and I look forward to each Christmas.
