If I ever have a grandson I could see this being a great set to have, but I don't foresee that anytime soon.

My daughter is getting married this fall (not that that is a prerequisite anymore)...after that, I'll likely be so destitute I wouldn't be able to buy it for a kid anyway, lol.

We bought a train set for our grandson Gianni two years ago. He took the trains all apart to see what makes them tick. It will be a while before we get him trains again.

Sounds like a future electrical engineer, to me. My youngest brother did the same thing with both controllers on a brand new slot car set one Christmas...The Old Man could have killed him, lol.
