I see that you moved last week. Remember take your time unloading all those boxes. I know you want to get all that stuff put away but being older like we are its not easy and its very tiring to do.

Thanks Dave, Happy Thanksgiving! We’d like to get it all done today but it’s going to take a few weeks to open all the boxes and get everything put away. I’m hoping we get settled so we can decorate for Christmas but it might have to wait until next year. We’ll see.

2 years ago I packed everything, made 3 trips to our new place with my truck loaded to the brim, a large Ryder truck loaded to the brim then wife helped some unpacking the coxes ( I did most, and I believe I thought I could do it in two - two and half weeks, took 2 months total lol.
So pace yourself. I was 66 Y.O. then.

Geesh, I thought I was the only one in that situation (only it's been more like 38 years for us). I promised myself I'd leave one packed box somewhere for the next owner...maybe my old Betamax video recorder...

Moving is hard work. I sold my old house, took me a month to get rid of the stuff I had saved but would never use. No more, if I don't need it, it's going.
