I really like this car. And I am liking the standard O cars more and more. Very short video.

I really like the FRED (Flashing Rear End Device), Keith. You will often see them called either FRED or ETD (End of Train Device).

keithb - if you have a camera tripod, a camera with a cable shutter release and a "bulb" setting you might want to try something like this (obviously this is the real thing but it is easy to reproduce on your layout): Position the camera on the tripod, set the camera on "bulb", turn out all the lights, start your train rolling (have a few cars before FRED shows up) and keep the shutter open until FRED is out of the frame. If you have the ability to quickly turn on all of the other lights on your layout (such as the building lights) while still running the train then for an additional visual impact let FRED roll by and then turn on all of the other layout lights (but not the general room lights) for a few seconds before you release the shutter. The overall effect will be one of a night shot with all of the layout lights looking like they would look if it was the real thing. You will have to do some experimentation but I guarantee you the final image will be a real eye catcher.
