Founds a $19 caboose on eBay. It lights up. The guide says was a good deal.

A fairly common caboose, but a solid, quality car. I run across a deal now and then, but it is rare for me…lol. I picked up a couple Weaver buildings really cheap. They were like new.  Tom |

You missed a TON of "great deals" at Allentown ATMA!!! I was planning on going to Allentown for those great deals but something came up @ last moment. Its been over a year since I have been to a show. I am planning on going to Greenbergs in Edison this weekend, probably Saturday. I might also go to the Great Train Extravaganza @ the Empire State Plaza in Albany Dec. 3.

Picked up this box of tinplate track at the local indoor flea market the other day:  Three bucks, all in. I was mostly interested in the two-rail clockwork track, presumably Marx. That stuff can be hard to find, especially the straight sections. Enough here for two small ovals, along with a few rusty sections of three-rail and an old Lionel O-27 uncoupler- section/controller. |
