Kielbasa, I love kiebasa, bring some over Adam!. My nephew who thinks he can cook is bringing a turkey that if past Thanksgivings go it will be mostly done not all thru. So I'll eat a little turkey and fill up on the sides. He does the same thing with everything he cooks. I'm tortured!!! Then to be tortured more I gotta watch football all day cutting into my Hallmark movies.

I'm not a turkey fan. I prefer a good kielbasa. Much tastier in my opinion. Kielbasa for Thanksgiving -- mmm, that's a real wiener! [ducking  ]

We will have the traditional Turkey. We only bought a breast this year as it's only the two of us. But I will be making turkey sandwiches. We have had Roast beef, Cornish game hens even chicken in the past.
I wish everybody have a blessed day, and please think of our military and first responders tomorrow while giving thanks, as it wouldn't be without what they do.

I love turkey! I even had a great turkey club at one of our local diners on Tuesday.
Back in the 1980s I worked with an older gentleman who told me he always had ostrich for Thanksgiving. Many years later at a Home Show I tried a bite from a vendor cooking some. It tasted like steak but had a heavy gamey aftertaste.
We have arrived in the Phoenix area through 400 miles of hellacious traffic. It was a nearly seven hour drive but we made it safely. We are at our son’s house for the weekend with 17 people coming for Thanksgiving dinner. Including our oldest granddaughter who came down from college to join us.
As much as I love the turkey, I’m really looking forward to Friday’s dinner at my favorite pizza restaurant out here! It’s not a sandwich shop, it’s a nice casual restaurant with a top shelf bar. (That I don’t really partake of ).
