I’m a big fan of the Texas Special and I agree this set is a beauty. No passenger figures in Lionel passenger cars was a dumb move on their part and they have stubbornly stuck with it although the cars are usually easy to take apart and populate.

I'm getting the layout done slowly but surely... I'll post some videos of it in the next few weeks or so. I's just a small 4x8... I've had bigger in the past. I've dealt with some heart issues for the past couple of years and now I'm finally feeling close to 100% again. 4X8 is all I want to deal with right now. Hahaha!

My Lionel Post War Celebration (PWC) F3's for Texas Special and Southern are two of my favorites.
Both have the pounding "Super Bass" B Units!

When did Lionel stop putting figures in passenger cars. On another note I was talking to David at his Lemax booth at York and it seems that Lemax stopped putting figures in their carousel amusement rides. His customers have to get them from a source that creates them using 3D printing.
