Seems pretty quiet with Fastrack. What did you use to lower the noise.

Even people who use carpet have a lot of noise so I doubt if the felt by itself would have these results. I had considered Fastrack a number of years ago and set up a loop on top of homosote and the noise was unbearable. Went back to Ross primarily because I needed 054 and Fastrack does not come in that.

I have felt on plywood. Fastrack, 048 upper, 060 and 072 lower loops.It's not to noisy, but it's all I have ever run. I walk the local track here, they have long trains, you can hear/feel the train 10 minutes before it get to you.

Keith, another good narrated video - I liked the description of the freight consist. Swapping the SF passenger set with the freight set is a nice feature. Alfred
