Show us something from your favorite railroad! Mine is the Boston & Maine and this SW9 is one of my favorite engines.

Hard call. But I like the New York Central train a lot.

I have more UP than anything else and they do the service of maintaining a mainly passenger “Heritage Fleet” including the Big Boy. Now, some of their fleet has gone to the restoration facility in Illinois and so is not UP’s responsibility any more but old allegiances are hard to break. So this model proclaims mine:
That said, the favorite railroad I have ever actually had a ride on is this one:

Great pics, everyone. I love that Little Joe set, harborbelt! I'm partial to older CPR, CNR and northern US roads like NP, GN and Milwaukee.

How about a couple of trolleys from the Baltimore and Annapolis Short Line Railroad, which used to run through (and provide rail service to) our location for the last three decades, Severna Park? Had to do the rebadging myself . . .

I'm pretty fond of Chessie System and Milwaukee Road. Just recently Pere Marquette.

On second thought, I expect very few of us would exclude Santa Fe as a fave railroad at least for 3rail O scale modeling purposes because Lionel has done so many models and some of them even very well. This is the best photo I think I have ever taken of a set I actually have so no apologies for posting it again:
Plus this Lionel fantasy Warbonnet scheme diesel is always one I enjoy running:
