Watched my first Hallmark movies tonight even though they are reruns from prior years. The new movies are on the weekends normally especially during the Christmas season.
My family and friends always tease me this time of the year for watching these types of movies but I really like them, they are predictable, funny and in this world we need more reasons to look on the bright side Of life instead of what is going on now.

We have DirecTV Satellite at home, which has Hallmark, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Great American Family channels. All 3 are running Christmas movies 24x7 now — with as you say is a wonderful diversion to the current events of the day.

It seems one channel does new movie Thursday, one does Friday and one does Saturday I think, it may not be be Friday, it may be Sunday, I know one is Thursday and One is Saturday for sure. ( this is new movies. ) I enjoy most of them, keeps my mind off of other things. Even when they don't have Christmas movies I watch them a lot as stated keeps my mind from wandering back to bad times.

we've been watching the new christmas movies since oct 20th they are okay but so far nothing seen tops the five more minutes or the at the plaza movies good story line wish they would make more like them. I purchased the at the plaza am thinking of getting a dvd of five more minutes this one is about a little girl grown up wanting to spend more time with her grandfather now if we could just get rid of all commercials sheesh

I have learned quite a few things as I have grown older is that I don't give a damm what others say or do. I have lived my life like the two people I admired the most, my Mother and Father who during their life never had anything. They never owned a house or a car. They never took a vacation but they were wonderful parents who gave their children what they could. They taught me all the life lessons I could have ever used. Well back to the hallmark movies, if your looking for movies that make you cheer, feel good and a good family movie than these may be for you. Take a look you may surprised. Dave

We and my Mom like them too. When we visit Mom we have Hallmark movie marathons. She even likes the reruns in July!
