As for me I found the MTH NS Dealer Appreciation Office train Set with ALL 10 cars and the full engine rooster of ABBA. And at a great price after haggling. Special Thank You to JDSTUCKS for pointing me too it. I owe you and your new wife a dinner!

Oh boy....I coulda, and somewhat dida...lol Without Nicholas Smith & Charles Ro, there were fewer choices and they were missed. As usual York provided me with more cabooses...and almost two more steam engines. With a bunch of self restraint I stayed well within my limit. Thank you vendors and thank you EDTCA for another very nice Rocktober York.

As of 11:30am on Saturday I faced the possibility that I was going to fly home from York empty handed for the first time in Traindiesel history. But then, after one last loop around the Orange Hall I found some interesting train items I somehow missed the first two days. The Voices began to chatter, the adrenaline rush began to flow through my body, my wallet quickly came out, and off to the UPS Shipping table in the Silver Hall lobby I went.
Needing one more train fix we stopped at Nicholas Smith’s Trains on the way to the airport so I could buy matching cabin cars for the locomotives I acquired at York. I couldn’t help myself. While there I saw an Atlas O 33,000 gallon tank car with a different car number than the one I have. Luckily it fit in the plane’s overhead bag bin!
It was a smaller haul than usual but just as much fun. Most funds will be spent on layout construction going forward. I LOVE THIS HOBBY, IT’S SO MUCH FUN!!

I bought way less, only four containers for my intermodal train. Maybe ill fine some at the Allentown show. Although I bought way less there is no need to buy anything now a days. Its now all about the friendships I have made through out the years and running trains when I can. It can't get any better than that.

I get 2 bags free with Delta, so with 3 of us that's total of 6 bags! Shipping costs back to Utah isn't cheap, of course Brian to California is more expensive. Luckily all but one piece of rolling stock made it back safely, and that was just a broken truck which I had the parts for anyway. Glad I didn't use the onsite shipping like Brian!!!
I seen Brian (aka TrainDiesel) at the show but didn't say Hi. I seen Denny zipping around Orange Hall on his scooter, and may have seen David1 outside of Orange sitting at one of the picnic tables. I did talk to Ben of NJ HighRailers.
Look forward to hoping to go again in 2025.
Jim
