I have 3 Milwaukee Road K-Line caboose and they all have pretty much the same marker lights. 1/2" tall by 3/8". Some how one came missing and I can't find any where. I bought a set on line labeled 1:48 scale. Not even close. The picture must have been blown up 10 times. Any way Some help would be appreciated. Gary Stewart

Maybe you can come across a shell or part out caboose? At train shows I found rolling stock broken, pieces missing, etc. and found parts for replacement or just saving for future needs. Bought a whole box of scale, shells, missing wheels, couplers, etc. for 10.00 bucks and used several items off those already. Even structures I've bought for the lights, windows, doors, etc. for projects that were in bad shape just for the pieces I could use. Hopefully someone might have a broken down caboose you can use for its parts. I sold structures that the person wanted to use for customizing a structure. So always check out the junk box many dealers have under their table.

By those dimensions those are absolutely HUGE marker lights, and can't be accurate O scale. Could you post a photo of what you are talking about? Many makers of spare and detailing parts have produced caboose marker lights and I have some spare made of brass. Yours sound more like G scale although none of the K-Line cabeese that I have include anything so big. A match may be possible but another option is to replace the pair with a set that is more scale accurate.

All 3 of my K-Line caboose have the same light. The measurements are the maximum. There is a train show 11/4/23 maybe I'll luck out and find something. I'm frustrated that I can't find anything on line.

So far I haven't found a pair to buy. I figure I'll have to buy a pair.

I had a look around for K-Line parts (no luck there but see below) and tried to see what you mean about size. My K-Line cabeese from yesteryear don’t seem to have marker lights quite as big as you mention:
This is someone else’s photo of a K-Line caboose of the same vintage and the marker looks bigger although it may just be the photo angle:
In any case, when I mounted marker lights on a Lionel 21” business car that in real life only had them for a special run in California I easily found a brass pair by Googling “O scale caboose marker lights.” I think that these came from Precision Scale Models’ parts catalog or are Cal-Scale parts availed through Bowser and other online retailers (LED lighting and color lenses added by me):
The old Keil Line white metal castings of these parts are still available from Scale City Designs but have to be drilled out if you want to add lighting.
