I'm sticking with side views of passenger cars until I have something new to show on the engine front. This is GGD's full O scale version of the Santa Fe Big Dome #511 built by Budd in 1954:
These photos were taken in low light and the bottom one with flash. Although the actual cars had polished aluminum panels GGD uses metallic paint to simulate that and the effect is better than the photos show.
I think that there are a few of these cars preserved and I know one or two formed part of a BNSF Business Car excursion train about a year ago. This might be one under the name "Bay View"; the magazine advert is from Streamliner Memories and dates to when the cars first entered service:
