What should I expect to pay for the set in excellent condition? Any other details about this or if maybe a similar set was made that I should consider.... Must be a Christmas tinplate set! |

This set came in 2 versions.
11-5505-0 is a “Conventional” engine that you control through the transformer.
and
11-5505-1 which has Protosound 3.0 and can be run “Conventionally” or through a DCS remote system. This version has recorded train sounds as well.
Other than that, the 2 sets are identical.

That's a pretty train. In regard to how hard it is to find, it was produced in 2011, so you should set up an eBay search. Save the search and get email notifications. It may take a while but one day you get the email. I have done this many times and sooner or later it will pop up.
