Eddie, we had over 1,350 views yesterday. Adam is correct, this happens every summer. Not to worry.

Eddie, I mentioned the exact same thing over on the summer slowdown thread... so you're not the only one thinking this way. There should be a happy medium between a dearth of new posts vs. a couple dozen new posts per hour. I much prefer QUALITY over quantity... every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Model train projects tend to fall on the back-burner during summer months. But this summer has been so rainy and humid, I'm tempted to start up some interesting train projects in the air-conditioned train room located in the finished lower level of our house -- often the coolest place indoors. So I'll be doing my part to post new content here on OGF in coming days/weeks. Yes... there are still outdoor summer projects that will demand my attention. But striking the ever-important, delicate balance in life is also key. Stay tuned!!!

I read most every day, I don't post if I don't believe I have anything already mentioned. To me it's more of the good info than how much is posted, no sense if somebody already mentioned what needed to be done/said. I do once in a while will start my own post and add to it as necessary.

I usually check the forum each time I go on-line (not every day) and try to participate when I can. Seems there's always something new every time I check.

We all can help by responding to the new posts and not jus reading them.
However, tomorrow is the Lionel catalog so that should generate some discussion.

Thanks for the reminder and we’ll see what they come up with. I am beyond the point of a wish list because I’m engaged in fixing what I already have but I’ll certainly give it a look.

For me, I am getting on about every other day. I go through the posts, and then do many posts in a number of threads. It's like Adam said - it is the Summer Slow Down. If I do alot of work out of doors, I'm pretty wasted by the heat and then won't have enough umph after 9 PM for the computer. Alfred

Aren't you always signed in? I suspect that I am but I am not looking every few hours. I do check a couple of times a day. At this time of year all model train forum traffic is down - hopefully because people are actually running trains!

Time is on your side? NOPE. SO Busy. With all this heat you would think things would slow down on delivering plants, but nope. Usually drops off beginning of July. Got to the train room t work on a switch but that is all. TIME TIME TIME Where are you?
