Finally was able to find time to operate my engines and was able to grab a shot to contribute today! Sadly I should have gotten the picture before I put my steam engine away. It's been a few months, thought it was finally time to get them out. Decided since it was such a nice day outside that I'd lay some track out in the garage, probably a good idea with running the smoke machine (coal turbine). Attachments:

Last week it was the General Haupt and U.S. Military Passenger cars. This week it is The General with W&A passenger cars. It's worth noting several of the various railroad passenger cars from the period had the same dimensions and differed only in things like side and window treatment and roof vent placement. As a result SMR was able to offer a variety of scale models of different railroad passenger cars while minimizing the effort needed to produce them. I can't recall exactly how many different roads SMR offered but I do remember they had a series of passenger cars to go with the Amenia (New York and Harlem Railroad).

Adam, I do also like the LV 44-tonner. By the way, I had my wife look at the video this evening; she said the train was going fast across the screen. I should have slowed the train for a better look. None the less, I found out that you can run a Youtube video at one-half speed (the audio is distorted), or at one-quarter speed (there is no audio). I don't kno if this would help. Alfred
