Rockymountaineer, That's great to have a complete tanker consist. I think Harborbelt70 was also impressed with the aluminum KLine tank cars. I too am a member of LOTS. Alfred Thanks Alfred. I have been hit and miss due to work and some other things. Seems that a black cloud has been over me for the last three years and this year it hit hard. BUT Thankfully the Lord never gives me more than I can handle. Of course he always stands with me and walks me through. That's why sometimes I look back and only see one set of footprints. That's when I know he is carrying me.

I'll try to post a picture later, but like Brian, my current collection is mostly passenger cars.
With that said, my kids loved the Lionel Liquid tank cars in the various colors. I think I have all of them, but one may have passed by.
Without pictures, it kind of makes it hard to visualize, but the tank cars ame in about 6 or 7 colors over the years. The neat thing was the way the liquid would move around and since the body of the tank was made of clear plastic you can see all the movement. Again, not my current taste, but will also not sell as my kids will want them for sure.
I will try to post a few images later.

Here are some of mine. I have about half a dozen post war tank cars in a box as well. I am surprised I have this many. And, of course, the pièce de résistance, the OGF tank car. That's another really admirable collection. I have two of the OGF hoppers but don't have a photo handy. I also like the UP tanker but I am partial to that RR. Here's a UP hopper that I do have a photo of (I need to do something about the wavy walkway on one side of the roof):
These MTH tank cars are in store in preference to running the K-Line tank cars I have:

I really like those even allowing for the fact that they seem to ride very high in the water - but then most Lionel passenger cars do as well!

I've got a bunch of postwar lionel 2555 Sunoco cars. (15-20) that I run if I'm running post war locos. But, mostly what I run with modern steam are Atlas 8000 gal Warren and Globe Attachments:

Adam, It is surprising what you sometimes find in boxes you have not looked into for a while. Alfred
