I have thoroughly enjoyed this forum for the last several years but unfortunately on my retired fixed income I can't donate $100. I'll just observe from now on. Thank you all for making this a great forum!
No need to just observe, Please keep posting no matter if you donate or not. This forum is open to anybody who likes trains, friendship or just likes talking on subjects that we may not know. We all learn from each other and I value each person here for their opinions so please continue your time here.

We can understand this, that's why they ask for donations for those that can. So there is no obligation, but we all value everyone here and their posts. Please continue to post and share, that alone is more valuable.
Phil, continue to post, always great to read what you have to say. Also you can donate a lesser amount if you are able, to help with the forums expenses.
Phil, donations are completely optional and not a requirement to be able to post. Please do continue to participate as your participation adds a lot to the forum.

Classic example as to who we are, nice people taking care of one another. Please continue to post.

WHOA! Pull the brakes on! This forum does NOT say you can't post if you do not contribute. Besides some have contributed more than once. SO Add some coal to the tender and build up the steam. Hit the whistle and start POSTING! IT IS FREE!
Phil, you don't have to make a donation to be a full member here. The OGF is not a pay to play forum. Membership is free. Donations are greatly appreciated but optional. If you can't afford to make a donation don't feel that you are a lesser member. I enjoy your posts and look forward to seeing many more.
I'm in the same boat as you. We are retired and on a fixed income, plus we are selling our home and buying a new one and don't forget that inflation, while down a bit, is still hitting seniors on fixed incomes very hard. This is a very bad time for me to spend any extra money. I am hoping that when we are settled in our new home I will be able to make a donation later this year.
Enjoy the OGF.
