Here's a video of my first layout I named Long Dog RR. I started construction in 2013 and tore it down at the end of 2018. I kept running into things I didn't like with it. So one day I just decided to tear it down and start over. There are things I miss about it that I will not be able to do on the new layout but there is always that third build. Lol I'll add photos to the thread eventually. I also plan to start a new thread on my current layout build. The new layout is called CDNF. Which stands for "Can't Decide Never Finished".

Well its only onward and upward from here. I enjoyed the video, thanks for posting. so will your new layout have multiple levels? The second or inner loop will be 2 inches above the main loop. The third loop will be 6 to 7 inches above that and located around the city area. No plans for a 4th loop at this time. I'm planning a spur that will end on top of the bar. More on that later ....

That spur I am sure will deliver the most important deliveries a train could ever make!

RJ, your idea of elevating two tracks will add visual interest and I can understand your starting over but I really like your old layout. The waterfall going to the floor is really cool.

Lots of action there in the video. No wonder you were having fun.
Did you purchase the Rocky Mountaineer passenger cars to go with your engine?

Thanks for sharing RJ. Backdrop looks great and you had some nice long runs there. The first build was preparation for this build 😁. I look forward to posts on the current build.

Well my phone's SD card has screwed up and I can't get the pictures to show up correctly. I sent the pictures to the Samsung cloud and tried reloading but they're still screwy. I'm going to try with a new card.
Brian those passenger cars are from the Lionel "Spirit of the Century" set. I had a chance to get the matching locos at a good price but passed. Still kicking myself for that and still looking for an engine to pull the cars. Thinking an Amtrak engine will fit the bill or have Harry repaint the set.
