This is not an actual set, the orange cars actually go with an Orange #9 that is coming in. anyway we have a 402E, green 419 combo car, Orange 429 combo call, 431 dining car, and a 430 Observation car, I'm missing an orange428 Parlor car.

It may not be the right engine but it's a really neat passenger train. 👍

Standard gauge is such a beautiful classic size. I wish I had room to do an entire layout in Standard gauge.

rtraincollector, Were these refurbished by you? Who's the manufacturer? Alfred No. there not even the correct color of Orange. But I like them anyway. I'm sure the MTH/Lionel #9E I have coming in will not match but that is okay with me. The engine was a MTH 9E and someone put a Lionel Bild-A-Motor.
The green I believe to be original paint.
The engine is a fair repaint, but It was offered on eBay as repaint and I needed a 402E as mine was trashed by previous owner ( shell, they used nut and bolts to hold the plate on, I would of found a better way than drilling holes through the cab and plate. )

Thanks for the comments, I know this is an O gauge forum but I figured 3 rails just a bit bigger lol. Also if you look at a 810 crane and put standard gauge trucks on it, there close in size.

That's a great-looking combination - nice video! I just did some rattle-can painting on my 35 and 36 Std. Ga. cars - my #33 locomotive is down to bare metal at the moment after an Evaporust bath. I'm still in the tinplate rabbit-hole and enjoying it.

Standard gauge is such a beautiful classic size. I wish I had room to do an entire layout in Standard gauge. Emile, my first Std. Ga. find had track enough for a 4 x 8 layout which got me looking for ideas. The curves are 042 and the late Thor Sheil's model train page has a pile of trackplans. There are plans down to 4 x 6' which would work for a board against a wall or for a two-piece sectional. Welcome to the rabbit hole! Dave

rtraincollector, Thanks for the info about your green and orange consist. No problem with S gauge here - trains is trains. Alfred You threw me for a loop when you said S gauge, as normally some one means American Flyer S Scale and say SG for standard gauge, all is good though, took me a minute to figure what you really meant. as S doesn't have 3 rails. Once I get one set or the other that I don't have right now I will shoe you the two variations of the 418, 419, & 490 cars. Probably tomorrow sometime I will have one set.
