This is the first in a series of Harry Hieke projects and wow, do we have a spectacular one to start with.
A client who lived in southeatern PA is a contractor by trade and is curremtly building a large new layout, 40x30 ft. He wanted something very special for this layout and called Harry about constructing a factory named after a relative who owns th Hasker Textile Company. Harrys' client was very specific about the building dimensions and number of floors to tie in with the prototype. He wanted a loding dock in the rear and as many details on the roof that woul look appropriate. Harry added the idea of a rail tracks entering the back corned of the building. All of the graphics used were created by another OGF Corporate Sponsor, Highball Graphics. This building has over 200 LED's so interior and exterior lighting is very generous.
Hard not to give this project a perfect "10".

That is an awesome model building.
I get a lot of inspiration when I see models like this.
But over 200 LED's interior and exterior lighting? Must be something to see.

Harry uses a lot of strip lights that come in sections of three lights. They really do a nice job and are easy to work with. They give a lot of light and are also very economical.
Dave at Evans Design, one of our sponsors, told me that his lights last a lot longer than some of the el cheapo ones on the Internet. He sells them by the roll. We have used a bunch and they are great.

Harry and Hi-Ball did a fabulous job. I especially like the White Star Lines poster on the back of the building.

Harry is so proud of his relationship with the OGF. We have been some of his biggest supporters and he wants us to be able to show his new creations.
He is a big plus for us.
