Today at Allentown show I picked up a RK scale MKT MP15 Switcher. It seems I got the wrong manual .
I was looking on how to get to the switches and other things. Usually a removal Hatch is on the top of the engine. But for the life of me I can't seem to find it.
If anybody has this engine please let me know where it is!!!

Thank you Tom, found out there is no hatch or cover on the top of the engine. Most likely no room. Beings I don't have a TIU Waiting for the new one. Also to run it with my old remote commander it must be reset to a factory reset. My buddy who runs dcs can help me do a factory reset when I go over his house today.

Btw the sound adjustment switch is underneath the front truck and it sounds much better not being at ear splitting loud.

Yes, and the wire cutting procedure to lock it into DCC mode is something new to me…
Seems like a cost saving measure rather than a “simplification” improvement.

Tom That may be true Tom but I would bet a very small percentage are sold to 2 railers. I have quite a few people ask me about the dcc switch. Some buyers know nothing about what the switches do, for that matter they don't know anything about dcs. Its surprising to me how many people buy the engines and have no clue on how to run them. So they take off the hatch and start flipping switches because they don't know what they are doing. I'm not sure many two trailers know about this either. Taking the switch out I think is a good move. Dave

I didn't know there was a DCC switch on 3 rail O gauge MTH engines. Any changes I make to my engines is via the DCS remote.
