I will be holding down the fort at table locations P-5, 6 and 7… my typical U-shaped booth. But this time I’ve recruited my lovely wife to help. It’s not easy to do these shows solo anymore!!!
I’m organizing all the goodies I’ll have with me this time as we speak. So loading the 9-foot U-Haul cargo van tomorrow morning should go quickly. You will not believe the wide variety of gems I’ve decided to bring along for this show. And forget about the nasty prices you’ve seen on eBay of late. These trains will be looking for new homes, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the prices.
If you live within two hours of Allentown, definitely stop by and say “hello”. You will not be disappointed. Plus if you attend on Saturday, don’t forget to check out the Farmers Market — just footsteps away from the train show hall.

rockymountaineer, Do you have tables at York? Eddie, no. I prefer to sell at Allentown... and then just attend York as an enthusiast.
Sometimes I post a preview of my Allentown goodies online, but it's been a busy week here on this end. So I might just make do with in-person sales this time. Shipping is only getting more expensive. And I'm selling some pretty hefty items this time... passenger sets, Legacy locomotives, MTH Turbo trains, K-Line Bombardier trains, Lionel scale autoracks... all of which are large or heavy. So buyers will save $$$ on shipping, if they buy at the show.

Is this show at the Ag Hall? Fairgrounds? Tom Yes… same as always. Train Show in Agriculture Hall. Sat 9-4, Sun 9-3. An early bird ticket gets you in at 8am either day. Last November, the early bird line on Saturday wrapped around to the back of Agriculture Hall. 😊

Just might get there! Tom

Pace yourself. I've never been; would like to go. In any case, I am not going to ask my wife to drive there (it's close enough)- not much in the Piggy Bank. Alot of post war items? Alfred.

Allentown is much better than any Greenbergs meet. Dave I will wholeheartedly agree with that. Greenberg's is not what it used to be. Its become more multi scale and now welcomes dealers selling toys and craft items. Allentown still pretty much what it has always been. Over the years I have purchased more at the Allentown Meets than at any other place and have found the better deals to be there. Its a two hall meet and some tables have trains piled up high 6'with trains. Its always been more manageable to see and find everything.
If you strike out and don't find any trains to buy you can go across the street and come home with a cart of great food from the huge Allentown Farmers market across the way. This way you can always come home with something. See ya all tomorrow.

Looks like we dodged a weather bullet and got the February 25/26 ATMA show in just in time before some sloppy, snowy weather is rolling into the Lehigh Valley tonight. The February show is always a bit of a gamble given the unpredictable weather. We've had such a mild winter... it would have been a shame to collide with winter weather NOW. But we were lucky indeed!!!
