In a way its funny, in way its true. Just he uses some foul language. Some things I agree with, some not.

Foul language, not for me. I won't watch it. Thanks anyway, Walt.

I watched some and skipped through it. He gives off that hohum type of vibe. Basically looking and saying what we have been saying, the prices are just too high. I didn’t catch any of the foul language so I assume it was unused rather sparingly.

I watched part of it but since I'm not interested in what is in the catalog it didn't hold my interest, however it's interesting hearing his comments.

I give this guy some credit in that the overall tone of the video was laced with dry humor and a healthy degree of good old-fashioned sarcasm. Here we are... still less than one full week after Lionel launched its newest catalog, and there are over a dozen "catalog review" videos on YouTube that do nothing more than walk through the catalog page by page. That gets old pretty quickly. So in that regard, the video posted by the OP took a somewhat different tact. It won't appeal to everyone, but nothing will these days on social media.
Bottom line... the catalog review videos need to achieve something beyond garnering clicks. And that "something" needs to either add value... or provide some entertainment value.
Truth be told... the "YouTube catalog review" craze started years ago in the vein of journalistic curiosity, when YouTubers would try to scoop each other and unveil catalog contents BEFORE the official launch date. That served a purpose. But it also ruffled Lionel's feathers too much, and now dealers have been threatened with serious fall-out if they leak product info early. Consequently, the YouTube generation now needs to deliver ADDED VALUE in its content, since most viewers have already paged through the catalog online at their own pace. So there's gotta be a REASON to view a "catalog review video". Absent that, most of them are non-starters, IMHO of course. At the very least, this video rises above the blatant boredom factor, and is worth a look-see... even if you find yourself fast-forwarding through parts of it at times.

I looked at the video and it fine and only one word considered bad. The video was actually entertaining. Beings I like sarcasm it was right up my Ally. As far as the YouTube video catalog guys go I don't watch them. Why should I watch them tell me what I already know. If you want to bore yourself then take a look.
