Steps 3 & 4: Apply strips of texture file-printed cardstock around platform base (brick) and over roof (shingles). Then, black/brown wash *lots* of wooden coffee stirrers, let them dry, then cut and glue to create platform top. Shown below: the roof and platform (still in progress) next to the foamboard mockup of the walls:  Not shown: brown rattle can spray paint of laser cut doors and windows, in preparation for installation in the basswood structure. Next steps: *more* coffee stirrers, fabricating roof supports, cutting holes for doors and windows and installing them, adding lights . . . never a dull moment!  |
