Very nice work and I am amazed at how many cars you are able to do so well! I am not in your league; I think that over 8 years I have only finished 5 passenger cars and 3 engine sets - not counting irksome repairs of badly assembled items. The backlog in terms of what I want to do is too big to contemplate.

Thanks everyone.
I am always learning new ways of doing things. Not all my creations come out perfect. Many are far from it, but I have learned to be patient with the whole process. Each car is a learning experience.
I have had a few duds that went back to the stripping tanks. Try, try and try again! I go through a lot of decals and paint, lol.
There are many other modelers that are much better than I am, but I truly appreciate your compliments regarding my efforts!
Tom

I bought a couple Atlas tank cars recently. They didn’t have trucks so I supplied those. The Atlas tankers are very well detailed, but the they have a bad trait of losing their corner steps. These are factory painted cars. The Solvay car was missing a step, so fabricated one, installed it and gave the entire car a shot of Tamiya flat finish… The Koppers car is right out of the box. Another great model by Atlas… Tom
