Hi just wondering if anyone else has had this happen? I have a remote that is a few months old. I had a steam loco on channel one and a diesel on 2. If I ran them individually, they both ran fine. When I tried to run them both at the same time, number one would run 3-5 feet then stop. Number two would keep running normally. Number one would restart, run 3-5 feet and stop again. Frustrating! I thought that there were bad track connections so I took it all apart and reconnected them again. Same problem. Some how I decided to reprogram the remote. I put the diesel on one and the steamer on two. I had much better results. I could run them together without all the interruptions. Does this make sense? With my previous remote I never had this issue. Like to know if anyone else has had an issue like this. Paul

I believe you can only run one engine at a time with the universal remote. I have one and can test that myself tomorrow..

You can run two engines But the one that is running will stop and all you have to is start it up again. Its a quirk of the LC remote.

Actually you can run three engines at a time and you should be able to control them quite independently. This I have done with my first remote. This is what causes the frustration with the current remote.

Two possibilities that I can check out. Both of those make sense! I will check it out. Thank you

Hi Adam Yesterday afternoon I reloaded the firmware utilizing the Lionel updated app. I’ve just come up from the cellar and have run two trains nonstop for fifteen minutes! Success! Good call Adam. If my layout was large enough I am confident that I could have run the third train.

Although I'm OK with this laptop, all my O and S engines are now old-fashioned postwar. TMCC was a bit of a pain for this old fart.
