I came across this YouTube video but don't see this item on their website. Do any of you guys who live near a Menards see these in the store?

There was a comment on OGR forum and the Menard's Facebook page. One comment was what does M & M have to do with track inspection.
Maybe Menard's will have some M & M buildings at a later date.

Kids set for sure.

It's interesting, but indeed a kids set. They could make some basic improvements and have something interesting. For example, eliminate the second car and track and, instead, improve the inspection car itself.

Yes, I saw it in the store a couple of weeks ago, but did not post anything about it here because it's clearly a kid's set. I wonder what the story is behind it because it seems like an odd thing to make for a kid's toy.

I wish we had a Menards in Maryland. I wish we had a few in Florida.
Thanks for posting the video Adam. I didn't know about this set.
The box truck looks like a nice model. The bonus car is very toy like.

Sets the stage for the OGF Track Inspection Vehicle now under development. This one is not a toy for sure.

PROS:
Nice item to get youngsters interested in trains and track at least.
The truck and Jeep can easily be re-lettered or the M&Ms things can be peeled off for a more realistic if not generic MOW/inspection set.
Many easy possibilities. Easy for kids to operate.
CONS:
Truck runs fast.
Need to maybe take the truck and jeep bodies off and add some stick-on tire weights to give better tracking and traction.
Appears that the ON/OFF switches under the vehicles snag on switch and crossing trackage causing derailments and the jeep flanges climb the curve switch trackage. Might need some trimming on them.
OVERALL:
Nice idea, could use some tweaking (see above).
Possibilities for hobbyists to improve and customize a low priced item. Maybe turn the box truck into a "Galloping Goose"?
Good introductory item for the little kids to run on Dad's/Grandpa's layout without interference with their trains or layouts. But still has the "flair" of "new tech" with the rudimentary wireless remote. They like that.
BONUS:
You get a nice loop of 036 track to use with 027 as parallel curves!
WIN!
