Thank you everyone! Seems I fractured the Tibia Plateau of my left leg, right below the left knee. Lots of swelling and fluid build up, but only pain if I move laterally. Wearing a brace. The right foot still hurts a little bit, but swelling is down, wearing a big hard plastic boot that looks like its from a science fiction movie. Considering this right foot is taking most of my weight, it still needs an MRI and PT. But due to insurance BS, I have to see 2 different doctors from the same office..... The Knee doctor is good, the ankle/foot doctor not so good, poor staff and the office uses a call center that just forwards you to the office voicemail and they never return your call. As a result, right foot still has no MRI and no diagnosis. Dumping the foot doctor and going elsewhere (voting with my dollars). On a positive note, I managed to work on my layout and hope to post some photos as very soon all that will be left is scenery and detail. Also, in the realm of urban archaeology, I decided to look deep into my Park Avenue tunnel and saw and retrieved an old bottle of MTH lubricant (oil). It has been lost down there for at least 5 years!

Get a new doctor is the correct choice for your angle assessment, Vince.

Chipset35
I was thinking and I may have a benefit to your problems.
Put a boot on the other foot. It will raise your overall height and you can reach more on the train table. Also you con then walk like Herman Munster. With a little makeup, and since you already have to keep your leg straight it will work great. Extra Bonus - Trick or Treat costume. Save me some candy since I thought of it for you!

Chipset35 I hope you are doing better. Chuckled at the last comment. At least you are still positive and poking a little fun at the problem!

Glad you are having a good recovery and that you found the lubricant. You don't need anymore discomfort from a poor doctor.Glad you are recovering

Good baseball talk. I remember this expression well.

Take it slow and get better. Going to the doctors and pt is just as bad as the injury.

Feeling better, just can't drive. About another 4 weeks needed to heal. Been working on both my O and N scale layouts like a madman.

Vince, Good news about your recovery. O gauge hobby is good therapy; however, if P t is recommended, do it. Alfred
