Hi all, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to O scale after doing garden trains for the last decade. I've constructed two 60 foot O gauge loops in my home office that run around my computer, zoom studio etc, one with fastrack and the other traditional Lionel 3 rail. I like to run clock work trains around the loop and have several Hornby steam clockwork locomotives and cars as well as a couple Marx Commodore Vanderbilt and Hafner windups plus a nice Marx M10005 train and a Marx M10000 train.
I'm wondering if there's any way to couple the great pulling Hornby clockwork locos to some nicer tinplate passenger cars, like some pre-war tinplate Lionel ones?
Thanks for the advice and for the forum...the nearest train store is about 120 miles away and about 4000 feet lower in elevation...
Best,
Mike Flagstaff, Arizona

Mike, Welcome again to OGF and to O gauge. Sounds as if you have got a nice situation in your office. (Make sure that you get your work done.) I am not knowledgeable to answer your question about coupling. Someone on the Forum may know. That's a long walk and climb down to get parts. Alfred
