Thank you John. I will definitely be ordering a set of three scale cars from Harry. Thanks for starting this. The whole idea is very cool and it has been fun.

Thanks, RJ. JDaddy John gets all the credit for getting this project off the ground. The OGF is blessed with so many creative folks who keep our interest in this hobby strong everyday.

Actually, I have to make a minor change, make item, ITEMS. Probably over 100. Please, I hope we don't have to call the paramedics for you with so many cars desecrated.
The prototype is an Atlas car that was donated. The main production line will no doubt be another supplier. We are currently in the negotiating stage. If we waited for a manufacturer to do this car from scratch, the time line would have been prohibitive as well as the cost. Harry Hieke is far quicker and is much more flexible in terms of getting these cars to our members and guests.
The decals for this project will soon arrive so I expect within a week or ten days, the traveling car will be ready. The cars for members purchase will be available shortly thereafter.
This project has the "High Ball". Since we are a member owned and managed train forum, we can and will outpace all other options. One thing about the OGF, we have many, many movers and shakers which is a major strength for us. Just think of all we have accomplished in three short months.
