That is a great garage - for which there is no way I have room! But excellent boxcars too, although I can't be tempted by freight cars at the moment.

No modifications to the garage but to the layout itself. I’ve got to move some of my other buildings to squeeze the garage in.

Jackson, Rearranging for the garage is half the enjoyment. What cars are you planning to use in / around it? Alfred

Hi Alfred You are absolutely correct. I have a small number of 1:48 vehicle that I also got from Menards. I will probably purchase a mix of trucks and vehicles from them. The search for the elusive 1:48 scale vehicles will be slow. Paul

I gave up on looking for 1:48 scale. The options are too limited for me. 1:43 scale is close enough for me and there are lots of options.

I purchased a Lionel 362 Barrel Loader accessory today from my repair guy. I have not opened it up yet. It’s a version from 1952 – 57 in the original box. I am looking forward to setting it up. But before that happens, I have to move the milk car stand from a UCS on the Westside loop to the UCS on the independent central loop; it will be more visible there, and there is more room for the barrel loader in the Westside loop. This will be the third time that I have relocated the milk stand; it actually started out in the central loop. Alfred

The garage does look nice. When it comes to 1/48 vehicles I'm with Brian.
1/48 availability and selection are so limited and I would rather have my vehicles be of the same scale. You can never have enough vehicles on your layout so I stick with 1/43.Scale wise 1/43 is only .029 bigger per scale foot, less than 1/32.
