Now that model very special it is a clear winner, Emile. It is unique, has really good looks with the graphics and add-one, and stands out on any layout. I have one as you know and it is placed on an area that gets a lot of attention.

This is a 1955 Thunderbird made by Welly. When I was a teenager my Uncle Phil and cousin Phil would buy a junk car and restore it. They would drive it around for a while and then sell it and buy another junk car. The first one they restored was a 1948 MG TF. The second was a 1956 T-Bird convertible. I remember driving around town with young Phil in the T-Bird and this model reminds me of that time.
By the way, cousin Phil is on my layout. This is him on his motorcycle riding past the Record store.
He didn't realize that was Elvis' Cadillac. Elvis was visiting the record store. Had Phil known he would have gone into the store to say hi to the King.

I love those T-Birds Brian. They were wonderful cars. Had a 56 T Bird I restored. After 5 years started getting rust by the headlights. Sold it and concentrated on Corvettes and restoring them. For myself and others. It was a good time and when they were affordable used and cost to restore still reasonable. But loved that T Bird.
