I like the view. Makes you feel relaxed...like you are along for the ride

I picked up my Lionel Lines version last Saturday. It's very easy to remove the window. No need to remove the complete shell. A slight squeeze to the front and rear ends of the cupola. The smoke stack pops off easy. The camera is connected with a ribbon cable and seems to press into the holder. Camera holder is glued to the cupola. With a small screwdriver, I pushed the camera rearward from the window avoiding the lens, it popped out. The window requires bit more force, mine had some glue towards the top edge. Personally I didn't find any difference with or without the window so I actually reinstalled. I was on my small 4.5 inch phone screen, so it is a bit hard to see all the details. It was neat to ride around the layout, the picture never froze even through the tunnels, the picture was viewable through the low tunnel light. The layout is 50' at its longest and has 2 levels so the lack of a freezing picture was surprising to me. I tried loading the to the 17" laptop but when I it came to step 18, the onetime browser extension selection, it says it loaded but I could never get an image. I will try to fuss with it at a later date.
