Well, after around 4+ weeks sent to Lionel to be repaired, this week we got back in the Lionel Santa Fe Acela #101 trailing engine on rear. The engine works. I put it back onto the complete SF Acela set we have at Corner Field Model Railroad Museum. Fingers crossed, #101 won't go bad again.
I recorded this video below today. With the quilling effect of the horn slider on my Legacy Remote, I created the sound of a doppler effect on the K5LA horn. Enjoy!!

Tom, this is a wonderful train with wonderful graphics. You should be proud of it on your layout.

Tom, this is a wonderful train with wonderful graphics. You should be proud of it on your layout. I agree with you 1 million percent Brian!!! Yes this train has been a very highly attention getter with the public seeing our layout. Their are other versions of the Acela that were made, but we as a family decided with Santa Fe because Santa Fe a LOT of people know what that railroad is and also kids know what that railroad is. This set for the colors is a total homerun!!!

Yep nice colors and definitely the one people will recognize by name. Yet have no idea that it is a fantasy scheme!
