Well, I was one of Her Majesty's commoners for part of my life, but no big fan of monarchies . In O we have Royal Hudsons for hauling the Canadian royal trips, but the British versions were in OO/HO. A diesel version was made in the 80s and a steam version in the early 2000 s, all for the enjoyment of us poor common folk... "I say, where's the thingy for working the TV?......." Interesting videos. For much of history there have been Kings Queens, royalty and other dictators but why they still have this in the UK escapes me.
